I am in need of an output transformer for an HMV B61B portable using 3V4 O/P tube into 2 ohm speaker, if you have something that will do the job please post or email me.

Thanks in advance

I believe the typical load resistance for 3V4 is 10Kohms.

Thanks GTC,
I found an old post in which you explained how that all works and what the impedance was for the 3V4.

Cheers

Hi Clive,

Have you had any luck locating an audio output transformer? I have a guy here in Victoria that rewinds them, does a great job and charges very little for the work.

Let me know and I can send you his details if you like.

Scott

I can send you his details if you like.

That would be very useful information for the membership in general.

Perhaps, if asked, he would agree to his details being put here:

Hi Scott, Yes I have had a transformer donated by a very kind member of this forum.

I would still like to have the details of your friend if possible.

Clive

I would also like your rewinders details.
