Hi All

i am chasing down a copy of the service data for the Hotpoint M65ME, I think (From RM) it is the same as a AWA 539MA

Thanks

Dan

Valve radios, They just don't make them like they used to

Thanks for that. Seems like a fairly ordinary setup.

A work mate wants me to "hav a look and see wot ya think, plug it in and it hums....."

Bad spelling on purpose....

I would not bother to plug it in again. At least we know the speaker transformer is working & the filter caps are cactus.. If it is a 539MA . Pretty straight forward wet day project.

I am surprised that you were not told that the dial light & valves light up: Always bemused when I see that on Flea Bay etc.

Marc

My classic is lights up but just needs a new needle because no sound.

How many gumtree buyers have been caught out over here by just needs a needle.
