I wonder if anyone could give me some information on the kit the HRSA sells. Good/nogood valve/transistor.

Any info appreciated.

The 2010 project is solid state. Can't speak for its performance.

We have discussed AM transmitters before, here: https://vintage-radio.com.au/default.asp?f=1&th=429

I built the current solid state version and had excellent results. Using the large coil specified, no antenna needed as there was sufficient radiation from the coil.

Thanks GTC and Harold for that info.

Harold do you have any tech info on it, as I would like to compare it to some other circuits I have got. I am not interested ripping off the circuit and will purchase the kit if I decide to use that circuit. I just want to see what I am getting as the HRSA don't exactly tell you anything about the kit.

Cheers

Clive

Hi Harold

Is there any chance that you could send me a copy of that. I lost a lot off back issues when I moved. I have an issue with mine and think the setup wasn't right.

Thanks

Valve radios, They just don't make them like they used to

Thanks for that. Might have a go at redoing the one I have.
