I've had this battered wooden radio for a while but it has defied my attempts to fix it. All I can receive is a strange chattering noise.

I'm suspecting something has gone wrong in one of the IF cans but I'd like a schematic before I go blundering about.

Can anyone help?

(This radio was built by DW RADIOS in Chatswood, Sydney.)

I've spotted 2 obvious errors in the diagram already, hopefully there aren't any more.

1. There's no plate voltage on the 6B6G

2. There's no plate voltage on the triode portion of the 6J8G on one of the bands.

I found the diagram of the TV-24A in the forum, and it seems quite similar but without the above errors.
Might be best to take both diagrams with me.

Got to look at this horrible radio. Short wave was quite dead and I found the aerial and osc coils both burnt out. The MW coils are in cans and rather difficult to get out, but once I got the MW osc coil out, it too was damaged. I was already suspicious of the MW aerial coil. So, with so much damage I decided not to proceed but to scrap the radio instead. It would never get more than $5 at auction, so putting in extra effort would be a waste of my time.
