Yes, Wa2ise, in the US they call it a Flyback transformer.
UK, Line Output transformer.
Most commonly in Oz, EHT transformer.
Of course, it is actually Line/Horizontal output combined with EHT generation. It is actually the "flyback" part of the cycle that is responsible for generating the 15 to 27kV needed by the Tube/CRT.
Finding a replacement for a 60 year old part (or in this case its newer aftermarket replacement) is understandably difficult. So is finding anyone with the gear capable of rewinding it, as is even the number of turns needed!
Back in the day I'd simply duck out to the van and pull one out of stock!

And what happened to the unused stock of the hundreds (thousands?) of service guys like you?
It's a great pity that nobody in Oz operates outlets like Surplus Sales of Nebraska, who appears to have acquired at least of one of everything ever made since the 1940s. I've bought some very rare stuff from that mob over the years (albeit sometimes having to pad my order out to reach their minimum sale).

The closest local thing to that would be Oatley Electronics but their range is somewhat more limited.

AFAIK, Oatley only sells new stuff. SS of Nebraska has been buying truckloads of old stock for decades. It operates out of a huge old multistorey building.
The true surplus shops here have long gone. If you look at EA issues for the 1960s and 1970s you'll see classified and some display ads for surplus shops, but they went out of fashion and I guess everything they still had when they closed went to the tip.

Oatley started out as a supplier of a combination of NIB, NOS, distress stock and disposals but over time they have changed what they are selling and it is mostly new stuff now. Unfortunately the one time I dealt with them I found them disinterested in assisting when something I was after was advertised by them and then subsequently out of stock. It was a case of, "why is it out of stock when just advertised? - Not sure - When will you have more in stock? - Don't know - How long does it take to order more in? - Couldn't tell you" The bloke sounded like Maxwell Smart when he'd provide the Chief with a report on the results of an assignment. Only difference is, when Max answers the questions it is actually funny.

Thanks to TV Collector, I was able to get a Philips NT3011A transformer - even though it is for 110 degree deflection and the circuit is different I was able to adapt it. I didn't need to run it in regulated mode.
If anyone is interested I will draw up the revised circuit and post it.
What I will do with Brad's assistance is post a couple of pictures of the result. Quite pleasing, the width turned out exactly right. I can't centre it better than that without de-focussing due to the short gun replacement CRT. Any shift input at all wipes out the focus.
