I have just become the owner of this radio, but I am unable to find any information on it. It looks just like the HMV B61C.
If anyone can supply information on it or where I might find the information that would be of great help. I have not yet picked it up so I cannot give any pictures or details.

Thanks for looking.

Clive

From the Wiki:

QUOTE: From the 1930s onwards, HMV manufactured radio and television sets and radiograms under the HMV and Marconiphone brand names in their factory in Hayes, Middlesex.

Ahhh so I was close in thinking that the HMV B61C and the MP A-1 are possibly just badge engineered and manufactured in Sydney or Melbourne.
Thanks GTC I will chase up the circuit for the HMV and see how it looks to the MP when I get it here.

Cheers

You very kindly supplied me with the circuit etc for my B version.

This is a "C" version, this is not the actual one I have but I know this seller and he would have got the details from the rear panel cct diagram. Maybe the C version did not have many produced before the D was released.
I will see whats what when I get mine and update this thread.
