It is amazing what turns up at a Men's Shed. This 1978 Vintage multimeter would a very early example.

It actually has wired in Nickel Cadmium batteries and is meant to have them. The label that voids the warranty is still there albeit there is a hole in it where the cover screw is (funny that). It still has its case and works, although is is obvious that it has been in the sun.

The charger is missing so info on that would be appreciated. Unit has eight cells (2 packs of four) Display is seven segment types.

I too have an Arlec DMM 10

Mine has the case, foam insert, and DC power plug.

I need schematic to get mine going. Too many wired disconnected.
I would like to see some clear pictures of your meter. It might help me to figure out where all the wires go.

According to a sticker inside the leather case, the leather case appears to be made by a Golf supplier in Preston, Melbourne.
