I note 6CK6, which is listed by Philips as a Video Amplifier. I suspect this, like several other valves has the same basic Pentode in all of them.

It has a shield, 6M5 & the audio ones don't. I have used 6CK6 as a sub for 6M5.

BUT!............ Grid 3 (suppressor) is internally connected to the cathode in 6M5: In 6CK6 it is pin 6.

If you sub you must make sure that pin 6 is cleared of anything on it and then tied to the cathode (pin3).

I see you have listed an EK2. Does this mean it is the side contact version?
