I am after a circuit for a Westinghouse I have on the bench.
It appears to be the usual AWA clone.
Model is 840 and uses 6B6G 6U7G 6A8G 6F6G 5Y3G. ARTS&P is G
It appears in radiomuseum http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/westinaus_840.html

I cant find it, or the AWA equivalent in my AORSM CD.

I've got a Westinghouse 840 in Volume 3, Page 290 of the AORSM. It might be in the Wartime Economy version which from memory has extra Westinghouse circuits. I wont know for sure until I get home from work later on tonight.

Other AWA broadcast models with the same valve line-up are: 84, 193, 194, 310 & 501.

Chassis looks similar to the Egg Crate.

I have a listing on a page 289 of AORSM & it shares it and the parts with another, reproduction is horrible, but I can cut out just it & the bits, if nothing better is available and that's it

I will post later on an Astor car radio of the thirties.

On Ray Pedri's AORSM disc it is on page 289, Vol. 3. In the Wartime Economy Standard it is on Page 291, Vol. 3.

It is listed as model WR840.

Also check out AWA models 84, 193, 194, 501 & 310, AORSM Vol. 4 page 108. Or the entire manual at Kevin Chants:

Thanks everyone.
I still don't know why I cant find the circuit on my CD. Might be because I use LinAORSM due to display issues with the original ??

I don't see 840 or WR840 in the index of my CD either.

.Monochrome: what is the Pedri 6-digit file number of that schematic?

I meant to say that it is listed on the circuit diagram as WR840.

The 6 digit file no. is 533500 and the index lists it as Westinghouse 1939.

The other circuit on the same page is a WR630.

Found it on the CD....
That particular circuit is under 'Unknown' for 1939 Westinghouse.
It is pretty poor quality and zooming in the model number is tiny and blurry, however thanks to some generous people I now have some nice, clear circuit/info to use.

The 6 digit file no. is 533500

Thanks. I have my own index and it's now updated.

I note that the page is not only hard to read but it's also upside down.
