The entire inventory of stock belonging to ''Australian vintage wireless'' is to be auctioned in 4 very large lots on eBay as of the 6th of October !

Due to overseas commitments, along with changes in the industry, we have decided to down tools , with only 1 project in the radio parts still to be completed ! ( the Awa 500m dials)
The last 4 years have been a nightmare in supply - so weighing up the situation ive decided to quit all lines of restoration stock , this includes radio dial ranges / backboards / assorted Dvd's / books on circuits etc along with promotional products / radio accessories !

Our job is done - its now up to somebody else ''to pick up the torch'' and carry it all on further!

We ran for 24 years 5 months and 2 weeks ! thus cementing Avw as the longest running supplier of vintage radios and parts, since collecting began in 1982. In this time we sent back to the public over 5,200 radios , Restored 1,988 more radio sets for the public, and we sent out 74,700 parcels of restoration goods to over 7,000 people -- in this timeframe - I think that's more than a fair effort!

At this time, id like to give thanks to the ''blue bloods'' of radio , who supported all products - Brad Leet , Ron Sherry , Ray Wellington, Ray Yates, Kevin Chant, George & Margaret , Peter Hughes, Mark Bortolussi, Scott Beveridge , Ralph Folds ,Andrew Griffith , Peter Eldridge , John Mac , John Murt , Dave Jensen ,Merve Moore, along with about 35 others, whom believed in what we were doing . Without these people --- Avw would not have survived the last 4 years.

I will say - I shall continue with the last 8 books in the new series on radio , along with the big book ''Convict Blood'' this is about all I shall do , after the restoration stock has found a new home.

The restoration stock on offer in the 4 coming Auctions is offered at ''below cost to produce'' so its a huge bargain for somebody with ambition, and the view to see that without such essential products, nothing can be completed! ............ radio will emerge again as a driving force in the collectables industry.

For people wanting the stock new dials etc by all means contact me))) ''il do you the deal of the decade '' I must leave before November 5th --nothing must remain here ( because ive no place to put it ) there will not be a place to put it all here!

The stock all up including dvd's on radio / books/ dials / backs & other products your looking at 950 pieces +...and no body gets to savour or use'' ----------what they don't know off)))

Still some badges & other goods , there has been a few small eBay sales,( POVERTY BAY ) but their appears that nobody is home!! ..............isn't it always the way ))) after goods are gone ...many miss out!!! you hear the 'oh god))) -- if only we'd known '' post mortem's ))))

So I'm trying to help people here obtain goods for cost price , as if some big dealer scoops the lots! well )))) he's doing it to make a fat profit ''on unique and finite items '' he's going to charge the next poor Johnny, 3 times what he has paid me,......................if possible .I don't want to see that happen!

I don't know how to get the info to all the radio guys ! that's always been the hardest thing to do .. id like just $25 for every person that mailed the last 12 years - like 2 weeks after I ran out of a certain product .. on the phone or mail he says nobody told me '' gasp!!

Hell $25 from each person that missed out ))) id be living in Paris for 2 months in a two story Penthouse with a'' tart'' on each knee !!
They all find out to late ... the problem with clubs is ( the ones that know where fellow collector can get his goods ... never speaks up )

Its like Asio ! everything is kept a secret !!! lol .......you have to wonder why ?
