I have for free an electric remote controlled TV tuner and cable remote from a model A160 TV.

I parted out the 3 in 1 which gave life to 3 other jobs. Sacrilege as it was a high quality piece in its day, but I had no use restoring it as it was . The cabinet and tube are still in good condition but will ultimately end up at the tip.

The remote was a work of art and would have cost a penny back then.

If anybody is interested let me know , email also as I'm not regularly on the site. You pay for freight and its yours.

Cheers
Vic

When you say electric, does a motor mechanically turn a variable capacitor, or select from a number of pre-tuned capacitors?

If noone has the actual television, I would like it for something else, but I'll give it a bit of time in case someone has the TV.
Cheers, Brek.

Hi Brek,

The electric motor turns the actual shaft the TV used on the channel knob.
