Hello members,

I am repairing a TR-1000 radio of sentimental value to a customer and need some transistors.

2SC404, 2SB378, 2SC 403 , 2SC402, if anybody has any I can purchase or knows where I can get some that would be fantastic. Have tried all the usual outlets.

I managed to get the amp stage working but it may be short lived with germanium transistors.

Cheers
Vic

Hi Vic.

If originality is not important you may wish to try some more commonly available equivalents.

The 2SB378 is germanium and you could probably get away with a AC128 or OC74, just making sure you get the base connections right. The other transistors are silicon.
