Hi Folks,
I have posted this under gramophones also.
I have spent the past 6 months trying to either replace or find parts to repair a couple of Philips turntables. So far, to no avail.
I'm hoping someone can assist, if so, please contact me directly for further info.

Cheers
Scott

What sort of parts... I just serviced a Grundig with a Grundig labelled turntable with Philips badges on it on the inside.

Motor bearings were almost locked up but I salvaged it.

G'day, thanks for your reply. Model is a circa 1966 Philips 22GC035.
I need new rubber grommets for the tone arm - where its connected and pivots up and down. Also seem to be missing an tension spring from the main mechanism and finally the stacker spindle is missing.
I have a PDF of the mechanical schematic for it of that helps.
Cheers
Scott

For rubber grommets, go visit a vet and get the small hose they use to shove down a cats nose etc.

Springs you may have to salvage from something else, or get lucky with a jaycar spring kit.

Stacker spindle may be similar to something else, the diameter will be the same, just the mounting under the platter will vary. Maybe do a cut & shut on something.

Look up the gramophone society in WA, may get you some leads.

Ben

Diagram would be useful. The rubber bushes on any of them would be likely cactus by now.

Small parts & some Bearing places may have a spring that will do. My Ute breaks one in a door about every 15- 20 years & that's where I get them. And that is where I would look for bushes (fine silicon rubber tube)
