Hi all just letting you all know my friend has his Astor JN harbour bridge radio for sale on eBay. I recently purchased one of these and it is a stunning radio definatly one of astors best very deco !

I've been watching that too, from the moment it was put on. I've always wanted one but they do attract high prices. There's so much Bakelite used in the cabinet you can almost stand on them.

Yes they are a huge chunk of Bakelite I've wanted one for 3 yrs and just before Christmas bought one its my favourite Bakelite radio. It wasn't the money I sold some radios I didn't want to sell for it, it was trying to find one for sale as they very rarely come up. I paid $2600 and that was very cheap compared to others I was offered. So interested to see how much this one goes for.
