The unit is in good cosmetic condition complete with all valves ,instruction manual ,working instructions and needles made around 1930 I should imagine very collectable. I will post some photos with the administration. I usually restore radiograms although this unit is very unique so I have left it alone. The unit is fitted with 6 of UX 226 1 of UY227 2 of UX245 1 of UX280 and a moving coil / field coil speaker In very good condition. I am looking for an offer as I really do not know the value.

Thanks Tim

The Radiomuseum site lacks a photo of that model, so if you can provide some well-lit and sharply-focused pics I would like to have them uploaded there, if you agree.

When I do an image search I get photos of gum boots and scarfs...¿

Search engines are a big let down sometimes. E-mail any pictures to me and I will upload them here. Smile

Hi Tim, Barry here again, you can contact me va email if you wish as I have un-blocked mine and is veiwable only to loggd in members. I note that yours is still blocked. Looks like we are the latest two new members. Forgive any mistakes I make as am not a computer generation bloke. We didn't have computers at school and all math had to be done using you actual brain not your fingers as is today's trend. Cheers, Baz.

I've noticed a few people with something to sell post here once and then are never heard from again - maybe the item is sold already?

Most forums have rules for the selling section such as you must provide contact details in your ad, and ads are taken down after a certain period.

Often you must also give an asking price -- difficult here where the 'oncers' usually don't know anything about what they have and are fishing for valuations prior to listing on eBay.

It is a bit annoying and I am fairly sure that the rules here state that posts in this forum should have a price included unless it is a swap or freebie. If this isn't the case then it will be in 2014.

Generally speaking, the rules here are quite reasonable and I do my best not to be petty about them. Most forums don't allow advertising of any sort (including legitimate sales) and this should be remembered by those posting items for sale.
