I have an empty cabinet for a Rico-Dyne Standard. It was a five valve TRF built by Radio Industries Corp. in New York in 1925.
It was sold here in Brisbane in 1926 by Home Radio Service and Thos. H Nash, both of Queen St.
I would like to build a set to go in it as close as possible to the original.
Any images of the interior would be most welcome.
Dan

Are you sure its TRF? Rico-Dyne sounds Autodyne & I have a Howard (not sure of spelling) using trench valves due in for overhaul, when the owner gets organised: It has to be stripped down.

It is a super-hetrodyne of the twenties and complete.

There may be a circuit of it in "Rider" if its an American chassis?

Hi Marc,
Its definitely a Rico-Dyne.
I'm slowly finding bits of information about it.
I now have two advertisements for it from here in Australia and one from the USA.
I've also located someone in the US who has one. He is going to send me photos of the innards.
I also have a copy of a booklet by Radio Industries Corp. about building their sets. The booklet has a very good description of the coils complete with a line drawing, dimensions and number of turns.
The plot thickens!
Dan
