Am looking on behalf of a friend based in Sydney for an 11-7 that's been restored electronically and which has a case in good and complete condition, but not necessarily "mint". He wants the radio for sentimental reasons.

So, if you have one matching those criteria that you'd like to sell to a good home, please let me know.

I am not sure of the state the electronics is in but there is an 11-7 for sale at the antique shop on Concord Road, Concord West at the intersection of Stuart Street. I didn't buy it as I have one already, for similar sentimental reasons though I purchased the big white STC mentioned in another recent thread there last weekend.

There's actually two antique shops there, close by each other. The one the radio is in is the one furthest away from Kentucky Fried Chucken.

Also, this. Not a bad price and may as well have the good cabinet to go with it, especially since the orange grilles are hard to find in good nick. Badge looks like it is AWOL though.

Thanks. I saw the eBay one and noted the missing badge. Missing or broken badges are common for this model. Not too big a problem as Michael Raanan makes reproductions.

I'll take a look at Concord when I get a chance.

Particularly trying to find one that's already been re-capped as I have too many of my own jobs in my workshop at the moment to take on another resto of anything.

Badges are good though. I got one for mine when I bought it last year. Come to think of it, that is where the radio came from too.

I have a Kriesler 11-7 that's in nice condition with a good grill and repo badge it works well but I have not had the time to restore it.
