Hi,

I'm after a circuit for an AWA B15. It's not in my AORSM's and I can't find it in the usual places. It seems that service info after 1955 is a bit hard to come by.

Cheers,

Warren

It's at radiomuseum.org, but you have to have a subscription to get the schematic. But I see someone beat me to it, sending you a copy.

Thanks Wa2ise, Radio Museum has all the good stuff. I'm seriously considering joining.

Thanks, I have one of these radios, and I replaced all the wax caps ("Ducan?") and the electrolytics, and if I recall correctly there was a mica cap that had about 75V across it that also went bad, plate circuit of the 6AV6 I think it was. Mica caps don't like a lot of voltage across them. If the IF transformer has separate caps across the coils, that's not a problem, as the plate circuit one has the same DC voltage across it. And the grid circuit one has the same low DC voltage across it.

I wonder if Ducon Australia was in any way related to British manufacturer The Dubilier Condenser Co (aka Ducon)
