Here is an assortment of valves. (not sure what they all are or if they work). There are visible numbers/letters on some which I’m not sure are relevant -
• 6D6 SE
• 6B7S L33
• 6A7 OA ?
• ?
• AWA 6X5GT E11
• IS2 211
• 6BL8 7A
• 6BL8 C 7B
• 6BL8 391
And miniseal capacitors.

Angela, in all fairness and to stop the greed that unfortunately consumes some people you should contact the historical radio society(hrsa)google it they have a "valve bank"for their members, valves will find a good home that way and your helping people that want to preserve the history of valve related items, hope this helps, regards ron

Ron,
I am somewhat perplexed by your statement relating to greed, particularly when only nine valves are on offer. Passing them onto the HRSA would limit their future use to members of that organisation.

A lot of people are only in it for the almighty $ I did not realise there were only nine valves, but offering them to the hrsa would keep them amongst the people that want to preserve the history generally of radio, as opposed to on selling them at a profit which with 9 valves probably wont be the case, maybe not worded properly but wanting a good outcome was my intention, delete my post if it confuses or misrepresents the aim or, history and preservation which was my only aim in this case, and to help Angela as well.

I couldn't imagine nine untested and un-boxed valves being worth enough to make any substantial profit? That 6B7 and 6X5 would look good on my display shelf though!

I think it is safe to assume that no-one would acquire anything from another member here for the purpose of making a living from it. At least, I am yet to hear of a case of this happening.
I think donating to the HRSA's valve bank would seek to cause the issue you are trying to avoid. I am of the understanding that the HRSA sells such valves rather than providing them without charge yet I also understand that the HRSA is a wealthy organisation with a lot of spare cash in the bank. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I've no plan to delete your comment. Everyone has the right to their opinion. I just don't understand the perception that some people have that dedication to radio preservation has to coincide with HRSA membership.
but offering them to the hrsa would keep them amongst the people that want to preserve the history generally of radio...
The reason I disagree with this is because I was once a member, yet in the whole of the time I have been a collector, before, during and after membership, my attitude hasn't changed. I am sure there are hundreds of people in the same boat.

Just to clarify with everyone, I'm not wanting to make a profit out of what is listed. I am giving these away to anyone who is interested in taking them. I thought someone may appreciate them rather than me throwing them in the bin.

Dear Angela,
The capacitors and resistors are unlikely to still be in serviceable condition though the valves could still be working quite well.
I would be pleased to have them however I would like to pay the postage for them.
May I e-mail you with my postage details?

Yes you can email me. I'll have to find a small box to put them in and work out the postage for you.
Should I throw out the capacitors and resistors?

I think the capacitors and resistors will be past their prime so unless someone wants them for display purposes they probably should go in the bin.
I will e-mail you tonight when I am back in town.
