Hi,

I have a 1956 Philips 17-inch table model TV to clear as part of a deceased estate.

It is a model 17 TT 101, I have a circuit diagram and a number of spare valves (of unknown condition.) The timber case is in fair-good condition for age

The screen shows just a single horizontal line, most likely a vertical oscillator/amplifier issue. Many years ago had a similar problem with it - finding that the carbon composition resistors were ageing. Not a difficult replaceemnt if you have basic valve-electronics knowledge, but I do not have time just now.

Its free to a good home, but the recipient would need to arrange pickup at own cost, from Mentone, Victoria, between 21 June and 27 June. I am quite flexible as to time of pickup.

Well damn, if only you were in NSW, I would be picking up this TV but don't have the fuel and the car isn't going
