Looking for a new owner for my Astor Baby circa 1939. The radio is in good condition and working, it is all original. No obvious damage, however there is some fading from green with clouds to turquios with clouds - still a beautiful little radio. my email is ralphfolds.hotmail.com

Wow Ralph what a little gem you have there.
I've never seen one with so much contrasting colours.
Very keen to buy .... What is the price ?
Is it working even though I would only use it for display purposes.
Keen for your reply.
Regards
Mickeyman

It's working fine, most of the caps have been replaced, though not all. It's the TRF design so the first part of the volume tunes to local stations and the rest to more distant ones. I'm asking $600 for it, please email me direct so I can send you full pics and details of it.

The Astor baby is sold, thanks for all the enquiries, to those who missed out it simply went to the first person who said he would buy it. Thanks Brad and Vintage Radio, what a nice way to sell a radio.
