Hello All,
Hoping someone maybe of assistance, I'm chasing a circuit and any info on a 1932 (? ) STC Console on turned legs that I am restoring.
The valves used are: 1x280,1x247,1x224A and 2x235. The speaker is an Electro Dynamic.
Thanks Dave.

That line-up matches 3 console sets, at least:
AWA model: Junior [C87 chassis] (1932)
Paramount model: 3V (1932)
Vox Humana model: Four (1932)
Unfortunately, I don't have schematics for any of those.

Highly likely it's a TRF as the 35's & 24A are tetrodes.
I have not seen an Autodyne with Tetrodes. But "Autodynes" are screen grid radio's & Tetrodes have a screen.
However if you cannot find a circuit, it may not be that complex. The only autodyne I have fixed (EMMCO), I had to reverse engineer, to get a circuit, but it's not the only one where I have had no circuit until I drew one.
So don't despair yet.

http://www.hws.org.au/RadioHistory/manufacturers/STC.htm.
lists STC model 635 with lineup
3*35, 24, 47, 80
and mentions model 535 which might be yours with one less 35 than the 635.
There is an article on the 635 in HRSA Radio Waves 7/91 which would probably be the same as yours with one more RF or IF amplification stage.

A hint if it was made by someone else; and plenty of that went on.
Have a look at the make of the caps, if it was made by AWA, often the caps would be AWA and several other bits would be AWA part numbers.
AWA tended to paint everything early an "Ocean Blue"
STC Gold

Thanks for the info I have identified it to be an STC Model 535 circa 1932
Hopefully a circuit and a bit more info will turn up

I have just been through part of that exercise with one someone else is fixing & I made an extension for, due to one pot shaft being short about 40mm after replacement was fitted.
The model number is not the circuit. the one here is a 1932 Autodyne which matches circuit 57 and yet 57A is a superhet.
