Hi all, it seems a tough ask for a Diason knob (see pic June 29 post) however on ebay currently there are listed Philco knobs that look a 'dead ringer'...any comments??
Also the 1.5 v battery used to bias the 25L6 valve(info from Don) is not really collectable and thus hard to find.
Anyone have any pictures of these batteries? Ever ready
AD35 looks the correct size ... was it in common use here?
TIA Michael.

Hi these knobs are the same as the 1930's Airzone console knobs. In the 1940's these became a kind of generic knob on all different brands of consoles.
The 1930's Philco knobs are the same but be careful as there are 3 different sizes 5/8", 3/4" and 1" if I remember correctly.

Hello Jandab thanks for the good solid info... the 'Philco ones
currently advertised are diff sizes but too pricey for me !

Re 1.5v battery ... was Ever Ready AD35 in common use here?
Its an English Ever Ready battery. The AD 35 looks to be about the right size to fit the bracket attached to the side of the Diason chassis.
