Hi Folks I am currently working on an interesting stereo unit, consisting of a separate power amp, push/pull EL84s for each channel, with 2 X 6N3 rectifiers. The radio tuner is dual wave, with RF stage and a magic eye, 17 valves in all! The Dual brand record player is not repairable, with a seized motor that is also open circuit. To get this set operational, I am seeking a good quality player or changer. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi Gandhn, Have just become a member having noticed your request. I have two (2) Dual Turntables that may suit you. I had them repaired in 1996 at a cost of $150 each however never re-installed as I was bought (gift) a more modern unit. They are in good condition. The 1214 was acquired late 60's and the Dual 506 Belt Drive a bit later. Can supply copy invoices. I live South side of Sydney. Would like to sell for $100 each. Hi Harold, You may recall our previous contacts re these units and it was not convenient for either of us to link up. I will however be in Raymond Terrace from the 3rd - 11th November.
