Looking for circuit if some one can help? Not in AORSM;s.

ARTS&P is "C" there is a Number D19x It looks like it had a sticker over it or was one? It looks a lot like they went to octals & reverted to the old valves when War was imminent.

It has minimum one dud valve & two suspects electrolytics are shot & there is a short at the back of the speaker plug & I confidently suspect a wiring error, there are three electro's on the 80? & yes, the sales guy had plugged it in. Crackled & Hummed ..... funny that. I didn't think it hummed, as it did not know the words.

That's why I looked first & didn't bother, to plug it in.

The closest I can come with that exact valve line up for circa 1936 is Bandmaster D186C (radiogram) or D186E (console).

Alas, no schematic.

GTC: That is concievable a "C" suggests 1936 and AORSM starts 37.

D186E would then be the likely, as it is a console. Believe it or not the chassis is like brand new.

I have taken photo's of the underside as I have to remove wires to get at components on the typical, of that era (neater) terminal boards

Thanks
Marc
