Hi All

I am chasing a replacement Volume control for a Philips Radio Gram.

The pot is a dual ganged (Stereo) 2M log tapped pot. Does anyone have one?

Valve radios, They just don't make them like they used to

Albeit that you have solved the problem, the old pots may be procurable from the US, which is where I got two 500k.

Some of those are tapped at 50K and others 40K measured from the end that will be grounded.

There is a place in US that can repair / replace tracks etc on the majority of pots.

Thanks Marc

I don't think it is worth sending it off to get it repaired. It is just an old chassis that I am playing with. I was hoping to build a small stereo amp out of it.

I have the original speakers that were in the gram but not the cabinet.

I am thinking of modifying the cct to the RF8 because it uses the same PCB and is only the matter of taking out the link adding a few resistors, 4 caps and a 500K pot for treble control. The tone control that is in it at the moment is the same as the one used for Bass.

I even have in my spares the speakers that would suit the RF8!

Just playing around since I don't have any good radios to fix at the moment.
