I have acquired this recently. The record changer has now been cleaned, etc and works well.
The television has been cleaned but not attempted yet as I will service the radio first.
The radio on/off switch (combined with the tone control) has burnt out and needs to be replaced.
I haven't found anything with this combination- twin 5K linear and rotary switch.
Anyone know where I can find something like this please.

That was fast, thanks. I could modify that as a single operation.

The switch pot is almost certainly a Ducon brand pot.
It was very common to just replace the switch on the back.
Back when I did in-house service, I carried half a dozen rebuilt switch backs in my toolbox.

The switch appears to be spotwelded to the previous housing.

Release the tags to remove the switch assembly, which also covers the rear pot section.
Then you will see the end of the shaft with the protrusion that operates the switch.
The switch section and cover are changed as a single piece.
Wayne.

Ok I will do that. It's a lot easier to find a single gang pot.

This model was also sold with a Pye badge and a STC badge...I have owned them before, 59 ,60 the chassis looked similar to a 263 but more basic and about a month ago there was one for sale in Lavington near Albury, NSW.

The radio is marked as M659.
There was a sticker in the TV that read model 459. I haven't found any reference to that anywhere.
