I have an STC Radiogram with Monarch 3 speed turntable (1950s??). Unknown what type of wood the cabinet is made from.
All valves work but cannot tune it into a station - I just get static noises. I dont think the turntable works. Though I don't know how to operate it.

3ft high, 3 ft wide, 1.5 ft deep. Cathedral style central speaker surrounded by storage cabinets either side. Four dial knobs on radio - 1. mains switch & tone. 2. Volume. 3. Tuning. 4. Gram/ B/cast/ & S/wave.

I have lots of photos - please request admin if interested & make an offer.

I think that should read "all valves light & it needs the chassis overhauling". Probably not a good idea to power it again until its checked.

Love that STC logo on the left side of the dial glass.

Funny feeling that I have seen one of those dial glasses here?

STC had two designs for their left-of-dial logo. One was what we see here. The other is a transmission tower beaming a radio signal.

Hi Mo,

I have this exact same model but it's missing the stylus. Are you able to tell me what stylus size/type (not sure on the correct term) yours has?

Thanks,
James.
