New knobs to exact specs are now available for the Philips Minstrel Bakelite sets produced 1953 to 1955 - models 138 / 139 and the 145 clock radio version.

Produced at our factory in the last 7 weeks and arriving in the last 10 days - over 100 have gone now to the people with need of these knobs.

We dont have copious amounts of these knobs as we did not produce a lot of them.

For the Philips radio collectors ok these knobs are the slightly larger versions to suit the Minstrels they are not the smaller and thinner shaft versions which suited the Fleet wood and Philips models 147 / 161 / 165 / 166 of 1955 to 1957 era.

I have been told that the Minstrel knobs could in fact have been used on a couple of other Philips models.

Photos of these class items will be available here soon.

The people with needs for these knobs - I have them now, but when they are all gone we won't be producing them again., so if you need some please contact me.

Steve, I'll send a reply e-mail later this week. I might put myself down for a few. Smile

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

Ok Brad they turned out brilliant eh they are all class all day long.

I doubt very much il be doing any more knob types for us as it is very hard to locate all the people that require them.

I still have some of the Astor Mickey knob range in 9 colours and the Airzone Ivory dome knobs, the Kriesler 11/80 and 11/81 knobs along with the AWA 1950s series and the HMV 1952 to 1957 series.

If the people have needs they know where to find me , some of the knob series are getting a bit low in numbers. Some of HMV ones in certain colours are getting right down in numbers, I won't remake them after they have run out.

It's to tall an order financially to do them again as it is very big dollars to do a series.
