I have not seen any mention of tape recorders on this site, but someone may be interested in the all-valve machine I am selling on Ebay. Just added some photos of the internals. Looks like if it doesn't work it is more likely to be an electrical problem than a mechanical one. The power supply was unplugged which might mean something. The serial number of this machine is 1931: I imagine not many of them found their way to Australia.

I took the opportunity to share this in my facebook group The Real Bakelite and Antique Radio Page. There is one member that loves these old reel to reels.
