I am cleaning out the sheds at my late mums house which has not been done for forty years or so.
Someone saw my ads on ebay and suggested that people on this forum might be interested:

There is currently an old picture tube sitting in the back yard. When I stuck it out there the label had already come off, but it could well fit the awa set advertised, since the family had two (the theory being that while dad was tinkering with one we could watch the other one, assuming that one was working!) I know I pulled the other one apart due to lack of storage space. The picture tube was stashed in the ceiling. Whoever buys the TV can take the picture tube if they want it.

I will also be advertising some aircraft radio equipment when I get around to it. An AR8 receiver (definately not working) and a more recent radio compass which dad bought to practice his morse reception, and delegated to me to modify for the purpose. The mods consisted mainly of removing the thyratron unit (which I still have) and improvising a 24V power supply and front panel. It has not been used for at least 30 years so I don't know the current condition. I have a circuit diagram somewhere but it might take me a long time to find it.
