We have a model 330 Breville radio, that is missing the plastic part behind the knobs that indicates the function of each switch.
Does anyone have a spare that We could purchase,or send me copy that I can print on transparent plastic?

That cabinet looks awfully similar to my 730: Its got it's couple of different valves.
I think it got a berth in Silicon Chip? & a photo of it floating around on this forum?
I will send to Brad anyway. Something different for set of the week perhaps?

I have used a drawing program, (Open Office) to create the artwork for another project. The above photo gives you the text required and the position is determined by knob spacing, etc.
The central logo could be a problem, maybe there is a drawing on the internet somewhere. On my project, I simply made 2 panels, one for each set of knobs and you could do this and ignore the logo.
I gave the artwork to Michael Raanan, who had a printer that could print a solid gold colour onto a transparency and I was very happy with the result.

You could re-create the logo using the Open Office Draw filled polyline function.
Just create it large, group the objects and shrink it to size.
Closed polylines can be filled with colour, patterns or gradients just like any other object.
It's worth taking the time to learn to use polylines in OO, they are quick and easy once you get the hang of it.

I have had a number of attempts of trying to print these labels and have been unsuccessful so far, perhaps someone can share their magic My problem is that when printed and placed on radio they fail to have sufficient contrast to be all that readable against the dark brown finish of a typical console. They are certainly nothing like the originals which I must admit have discoloured over the years, although other than the contrast they are very close replicas.
I have been using Microsoft Word with a bold Calibri (body) 11 point font which at least to my old eyes closely matched the original. Printed in yellow just like the original, converted to PDF and printed on transparency by Office Works. Images were also drawn with Microsoft Word or maybe Visio. The text and images just don't stand out sufficiently. I am printing reverse images, as suggested somewhere on the web, in an endeavour to protect the printing.

You need a printer that will print with paint. Specialised device.
You could take your PDF to a firm that prints labels.

As referred to in my earlier post and confirmed by Ian, a special printer is needed to print a solid colour and Michael Raanan had such a device. He did the panels on my radio in the Post#3 picture.

Same Breville 730 Radio May 2012. SC That's also the one where the Pentagrid lost its Metalisation & I replaced it with a conductive glue.
