Hi Folks,

Does anyone have a spare 500K Dual pot to suit an old STC Stereogram
Shaft is a half moon 6mm, long stem.

Thanks in advance

Scott

One normally also accepts one with a long shaft, puts the shaft in a vice & modifies it appropriately using a hacksaw & de-burrs it with a file: 1/4" seems awfully short. There might be a second hand one here that's good?

1/4" is the shaft diameter.

You don't say which taper, log or linear, but long shaft dual gang pots are getting harder to find these days.

Most often, volume controls were logarithmic and tone controls were linear.

I agree on rarity. You pretty much have to drag a like machine off a cleanup pile to get some of these spares now. In a fortunate twist, this is where most 1960s radiograms end up.

Being a stereo-gram, the balance control will also be linear.
