Hi all,
I am after an old Hospital Bed Radio Panel,
or even parts of or last resort even a photo
so I can re-produce one.
Even the air tube pillow speaker or headphones.
Cheers
Josh

I think in the short term I'd be aiming the sights at the old Royal Adelaide Hospital. Like most of the older hospitals I would assume they'd have boxes of spare parts for systems they haven't used for donkeys years and maybe even a ward or building that was no longer in use that contains its original fit-out.

It's amazing what is still around by sheer strokes of luck. As little as ten years ago I worked at a fairly modern private hospital that was still using a refitted version of an AWA-Sedco nursecall system. It still worked so why get rid of it. It was a bit of a hybrid. Very old but dependable patient handsets but at the sister's stations they made use of the now commonplace LED displays showing room number and call priority colour coding.

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

Thanks Brad,
I have done that but am not expecting much as SA health are a disaster and have also tried it with a couple of schools and
got nowhere fast.
Have spoken with a few demolition mobs but they say basically they say there is no value in removing small items.
If I knew someone that worked is a hospital it probably would be different but I am going to try a few closer old regional hospitals.
Cheers
Josh
