Hi all,

Is it possible to purchase 6L6's.

Real ones, not China, Soviet etc.

I'm not after a bargain here, will pay their value gladly.

Cheers,

G.

P.S. Second hand ones O.K. as long as they have some steam left in them.

There's a lot of choice here, including NOS glass and even metal tubes.

https://www.tubedepot.com/products?utf8=%E2%9C%93&keywords=6l6

You can pay some really stupid prices for rare NOS parts.

Although you should consider JJ - made in Slovakia on the ex-Tesla gear and are well regarded.

Thank you Ian,

Lots of 6L6's to chose from.

Wow, look at those KT88's, high pressure steam there.

I see what you mean about prices. I would like to think the dearer the more robust, but I've been bitten before.

Years ago (many) I watched a pair of 88's working with bright red glowing plates, lots of distortion but still operating, and OK the next day.

But enough of memory lane, for now.

G.
