Hi all, I am chasing a 1935 B.D shortwave converter that plugs into the back of an Astor Mickey model B.E.
It was known as an 'OVERSEA-ER B.D' and was a 1-valve unit that would convert your broadcast Mickey into shortwave.
I have a new old stock timber cabinet and have waited years for one to pop up but so far it hasn't.
I am not concerned about the condition if you have one as it can be restored. You may have a complete unit or just the chassis only?
Photos of what one looks should be up here tonight. Cheers Adam

If you have a good cabinet, would you consider making a chassis to fit, given that the circuit is on Radiomuseum, as per GTC's post above?

Harold

I sent Brad some actual photos of one showing good detail of the front, back and a close up of the chassis...just waiting for him to upload them. I already have a circuit diagram for one, however I would prefer having an original unit or nothing.

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

Very nice looking cabinet.
The simplicity of it is wonderful.
