Hi All,

I am selling a AWA P1T that is blue in colour.
I really don't know anything about it and have been afraid to turn it on lest I am not supposed to without opening it up and cleaning or some such thing.

I have listed it on ebay with a 99cent starting price.here is the link where you can see the pics and also bid should you wish to.

I can confirm that it has been locked in an unopened warehouse for the past 30 plus years, The warehouse is dry but dusty,

The rabbit ear aerials have been snapped off but otherwise I would expect that it works perfectly fine (like every other treasure I have taken out of this warehouse)

So I am seeking your expert opinions on what a fair price for this little delight of a television should be.

Many thanks

Jakeus

Very wise. Don't power up any such old equipment. It needs to be thoroughly checked out by an experienced technician beforehand.

Thanks for your confirmation GTC, I thought so.

Any idea what I should be asking for on this TV?

Thanks

Jakeus

They were a good TV in their day. I bought 2 of them new and used one myself for many years as my bedroom set.

I never try to put a value on such things. My motto is "An item is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it on the day you must sell it."

Someone may be interested in that one as a parts donor for a resto.

Yes I agree with your motto. I listed it at 99 cents for auction, if it sells for 99 cents then so be it. If it sells for $300 then that's just a bonus. Smile

Thanks for your input GTC.
