Ive never owned a Gramophone only 50s and 60s Radiograms and TVs. Pete

Most people don't realise that steel gramophone needles were made to be used once only, so they play them over and over damaging the 78s in the process.

Yes G, I did not know than until I read it on the Tin box.it also had one copper needle in it?

I think you'll find it's copper-plated steel.
