Hello Rod,
No I did not buy it, but I did like it.
I only like coloured radios becuase I collect 50s stuff and it fits in and look great. Sometimes I see a good colour radio,but mostly their not. Lot more colour ones in Europe and the states though.

Do you run your XP machine online, and if you do,how do you handle the security issue?

Yep, but blue screen of death took care of that. Re security, I run Avast AV with all firewall and security switches on, I avoid the usual sources of malware, and I make sure SSL is activated for important sites.

Will finally say goodbye to XP when new machine is installed.

Yes save all of your tungsten filament bulbs as you cant do this sort of testing with L.E.D light bulbs..

Back to the topic at hand...
I have one of the "Dimmerstat" brand variacs that I will be selling.
Its a 2100 VA (8A) unit it good working condition. But Grenfell is a way away. Too far?
