I have obtained an Etronic RA640 radio. Not entirely sure what to do with it.
Does anyone have any service information on this?
The dial glass has half the printing missing, there is no dial pointer either.
The radio should be repairable. The audio end is ok. I would think if the metal cased Sprague coupling caps were replaced it would work. The speaker is in great condition.
My questions are these, Firstly has anyone got a dial glass and pointer. There is no point in making it work without a dial glass and pointer. I am not that keen on it to spend money on it.
If it appeals anyone out there that has a genuine interest in it. I would let it go. It is quite heavy and it would be more suited to a local pick up as freight would be expensive.
Kind Regards Jim.
