Hi there,
I have just bought my second vintage radio. It is an Astor console radio in a floor standing wood veneer case with two bakelite knobs and the tuning dial has a metal escutcheon. The set has 4 valves and is marked as model no. OM684.
Would love any idea of it's age and origins etc..........
thanks
Pud

G'day Pud,

The Astor OM model was produced in 1932. The valve linup should be 57, 58 47 and 80. Sometimes a 95 was substituted for the 47.

Not sure if I have a circuit. Will have a look in my collection.

Cheers, Graham...
