I`m looking for an IF transformer and dial glass for a Mullard 1110.

The missing IF is No 2 on the chassis and 455kHz, adjustment by way of slugs in threaded former, round can 30mm dia. and 65mm in height, 6 pins on the base which is secured by a rolled crimp that allows fitment to the chassis by way of three flat split ended spring clips.

Many thanks to Bring Back The Valve who responded to my original misplaced post, hope the above info is sufficiently clear.

I`m assuming the dial is most likely non obtainable, if that`s the case would appreciate any suggestions on the possibilities of fabricating one.

Leigh.

Leigh,

Despite there being 6 pins, can you determine if only 4 pins are connected. That tells us whether there are any 'tapped' windings.

I have a cylindrical can 65mm X 35mm 4 pins, straight transformer, no taps. Also has two mounting lugs on the side. There are two
tunning slugs---top and bottom.

I have no way of knowing its operating frequency, but chances are favourable that it is 445kHz.

Anyway, if you think you can modify it to fit the chassis or use it in some other project, it's yours!.

Cheers,

G.

Hello `G`

Thanks that sounds ideal, circuit shows plain windings and no taps, four pins is fine.

To obtain a correct sized can would be great, I feel sure I would be able to arrange internals to suit if required.

What arrangements would you suggest for me to pay and take possession?

regards,

Leigh.

Leigh,

I don't want anything for it. If you can open your email address briefly I will contact you for a postal address.
