Just a note on the Philips its a 2462, the cartridge is fed to the top of the volume control (switched), but is solid wired as it cannot be earthed. It actually has a 50K (R22) resistor across it & is fed to the Volume pot via a 0.004mfd (C40) series cap.

I have 2 of these in the shed awaiting a moment of inspiration. I asked a while ago in another forum if anyone had any details of the decks used and weather there was one for Microgrove (33 1/3 RPM)? If I got one that suited then id be more interested to fix them up, Have one fully original with the 78 RPM deck and then the one I use with the Microgroove.

Dan

Hello Monochrome TV.
I have ordered some rubber on eBay.
However will not disturb this on while it works. If I am fortunate enough to buy another and it needs surgery I will have a got at that one.
Regards Jimb
