Hello All,

I wonder if someone can assist in helping me find a circuit/info on a AWA Fisk Radiola I wish to rebuild. The chassis suggests R51G /, the R and G quite distinct but the 1 is not so but I`m reasonably confident. The unit is a timber table top cabinet and has two horizontal speaker grill segments, B/C band only. There is an internal factory finish label which confirms manufacture date of 1938, valve line is 6A8, 6U7, 6G8, 6F6, 5Y3, there is a model 51 in the AORMS for 1938 but it has a different valve line up although the circuit is similar. Any information or clarification would be most appreciated.

Leigh.

Hi Leigh,

Kevin Chant has a good detailed service paper for the AWA R51G on his web site www.kevinchant.com

The R51G is the updated version of the R51 which used pre-octal valves. they basically used the same circuit and just used the equivalent octal valves.

Regards, Frank.

That is the exact one GTC, have downloaded the manual from the site suggested by Frank, thanks to both for your help.

Leigh
