I have a pair of elliptical (6"x4") Magnavox Magnaflux 64S1 speakers. Does anyone have any info on these, or know where I can find some? Their power rating is really what I'm after. I'd like to try them with a clone of a Kriesler 11-104 stereo amp (single ended, EL84s instead of 6M5s). Their DC resistance is 14.2 ohms, so I guess using them with the "16 ohm" tap on my output transformers would be ok. Cheers.

I don't think you need worry about power ratings if they are going to be used with single ended A class output stage EL84.
Under normal operation probably around 3 watts of clean sound, out of EL84's.

Thanks JJ. They came out of a 60s 3-in-1 unit that our family had when I was a kid, so they were probably originally used by a similar amplifier. But I'm new to this and wary of pifalls. Cheers.
