Hi Everyone,

This is my first post here, its great to see such a great forum dedicated to vintage radios and TVs.

My question is,

My Son and I are doing up a Kriesler Radio Gram MOD 11-91. and there are some burnt out parts that we need to replace. One of them is one of the audio output transformer. It has stamped on it "Rola June 1963" and MOD K38-13.

Specs are

Primary 7000Ohms Secondary 15Ohms.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these or a modern day substitute?

Thanks in advance and if you require further info please let me know

Hank

Hi Hank,

One option is the multi-tapped output transformer from RS see http://au.rs-online.com/web/p/audio-transformers/2106475/

I have used these in many restorations and they can often be hidden in the shell of the original output transformer.

Yes am interested to those who might have a working transformer, let me what you would like for one.

Joe thanks for the website, am considering this, would it be better to replace both transformers so they are the same?

Waste of time and money to replace both.
They either work or don't.
They really are nothing special and it will make little difference to fit something that has close specifications.
