It was originally called Ultra HD and they should have kept with that.

Re need for 4k resolution:

I agree that for most material it's overkill.

But if you have a 104" LCD (we make 'em) and you are up close (as you are with these touchscreens) it's nice not to be able to see the pixels!

What's usually being displayed here is computers, running at the native resolution of the display. It does look impressive. You can fit a hell of a lot on the screen and these things are multi-touch so you can have more than one user at the same time.

4k resolution video material is also impressive, especially up close, it gets quite immersive.

They do have 4k res free-to-air in Korea.

Eureka!

Recovered the files from the drive in the dead PC!

They had already been updated too.

I'm ordering 50 sets because there's been a lot of interest. Should be available 2nd or 3rd week of May.

I'll ask Brad to put up a picture and the revised schematic.
