Hi guys,

I have a Kriesler 11-104 that I love the sound of. Would anyone here know what the quality of the output transformers used in these was like? The reason I ask is that I'm planning to build a stereo Mullard 3-3 amp, and new Hammond ultra-linear "hi-fi" output transformers are quite costly. But I'm wondering if a general purpose "guitar amp" quality OP would give me the same general performance as my Kriesler, in which case I'd be quite happy. I use it for LPs mostly, not for "home theatre" or doof music.

Edit...actually I may just try to clone the 11-104 circuit rather than build the Mullard 3-3. In which case....anyone know the specs of the power transformer?

Cheers
