G'day all,
Does anyone have any experience in restoring a Classic brand radiogram from the 50's?

Hi Tubby what kind of problems does it have? I may be able to help with electronic problems but not cabinet or woodwork issues

I got a Classic Radiogram but is in pieces, I managed to find a schematic diagram but it is missing a few values. I was looking to keep it as original as possible but may have to get more modern items such as the power tranformer etc. Can I email the schematic to you and see what you think?
I was going to go to the Kurrajong radio museum soon and see if they have any classic radios.

Cheers for the response
Tubby

Hi
I have a Classic Radiogram, being dismantled as the cabinet is in bad condition and the turntable is going to a more worthy cause. The chassis is in perfect working condition and is available at a price. Could you let me know what your valve line-up is and the dial and knob layout so we can identify if they are the same or compatible models. If not then components such as the power transformer may be the same, assuming Classic had one supplier per commodity.
Please email details to griffin.storage.bigpond.com
cheers
