Hi all.
I am trying to get a 1935 Precedent Radio
up and running again. According to a brass plaque
on the green chassis it was made by Firth Bros, in Melbourne, Model L35.
I have a collegue who owns Australian radio
wiring diagram manuals from 1939 to 1953 (blue cover, yearly, can't remember the name on them though..)
But Precedent doesn't rate a mention until about 1946,
and then based in Sydney.
Some valves were missing (80 and 42) but I had a bit of luck, the numbers being stencilled on the chassis near the sockets. There is a 5 pin socket on the rear that the speaker and HT connects to, (it has writing above it, but rust & dust have made it unreadable) but there is also a 4 pin socket on the right side rear corner marked "output" which has nothing plugged into it.......
Does anybody possess a circuit diagram?
